General Terms and Conditions for Employment Agency Services


These general terms and conditions apply to all services of Gideon Technical Staffing NV, hereinafter referred to as: the employment agency.

The terms and conditions apply to:
- job seekers who make use of our services;
- employers who recruit candidates through us.

By using our services, the user agrees to these terms and conditions.


Job seeker: any natural person who registers for employment mediation.
Employer: any natural or legal person who recruits personnel through the employment agency.
Mediation: bringing together job seekers and employers with a view to establishing employment.


The employment agency provides services aimed at:
- registering job seekers;
- matching job seekers and employers;
- facilitating contact between parties.

No placement or employment is guaranteed.


Job mediation is free of charge for job seekers.

The job seeker is obliged to:
- to provide accurate and up-to-date information;
- to report changes in a timely manner;
- to report employment within 7 days.

The employment agency is not liable for decisions of employers or situations after employment commences.

If relevant, a background check may be conducted. A Certificate of Good Conduct may also be requested.


Employers are required to:
- to provide correct information;
- not to impose discriminatory requirements;
- to comply with the legislation.

The final selection and appointment rests entirely with the employer.


Discrimination is not permitted. Selection is based on objective criteria.


Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.


We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.


The service may be terminated in the event of a breach of terms or legal obligations.


These terms and conditions are governed by Surinamese law.


We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions.
